Before a recap of our weekend activities..... I wanted to include a few pictures from last week!.... This is Zander before "school" one morning working on breakfast. We have moved him to the "big boy" table but he still has his chair rather than the booster. :)
The staff at my school did a dance number to "Shake It Off" by T. Swift for our school's talent show. We embraced 80's attire for the evening event! (a special thanks to my friend, Sarah, for sharing her 80's clothes!)Then, our family of three (Burke stayed with Aunt Lindsey and Uncle Boomer) headed to Atlanta Friday night to visit with Grannie, Aunt A and Uncle Jay! Aunt A and Uncle Jay are getting married in September. I had the privilege of going dress shopping with the ladies while Zack and Zander had "boy time" with Uncle Jay. I am excited to report we found the dress!! It is gorgeous! At the shop where we found it, they make you take a picture with their mannequin to celebrate the purchase (disclaimer.... this is NOT the dress!!... I will not be posting pictures of Aunt A in the dress until after September!)
We celebrated daddy's 33rd birthday that night by Aunt A and Uncle Jay making a delicious dinner and having an ice cream cake for dessert. Amanda's best friend, Adair, came over with her twin baby girls! Zander wanted to be held like a baby too! It showed me he might not be ready for a sibling just yet! He got a little upset when mommy was holding another baby! haha These twin girls are precious!
Zander loves his Aunt A!
