Summer Break: Hiatus

Well.... I spent this past week in a training!  8:30-4:30 every day.... so I am not considering this week one of my weeks at home with my boy and therefore I am saying we have had a summer break "hiatus".  Stay tuned to see what fun things we get ourselves into over the last three weeks of our summer break before mommy heads back to work! This summer is going by super fast and our boy is getting so big! Zander is able to point to his nose and his belly when asked.  We are working on the eyes and ears.  Thanks to great-grandpa Bill, Zander can show you his tongue on command which is pretty adorable! We are also working on Zander "blowing kisses".  He will make the noise to blow a kiss but doesn't have the hand movement down yet!  He has also gotten really good at saying "bye-bye", and is starting to mimic whatever I say.  Although they are not complete words, they certainly do sound a lot like we are having a conversation! Here are some pictures of Z from the week.... he spent time with Grannie and Grammy.  They were both so sweet to hang out with our little man for a few days each while I had to be at training.  Both of them loved having time alone with Zander! Grannie took Zander to Target, Lowes, and Chickfila!  Zander even spent some time reading in Burke's kennel while Grannie took pictures to document this moment!  Grammy took Zander to Jimmy John's with Aunt Lindsey, went on walks with the boys, and filled up Zander's pool for some outside time! The weather was gorgeous (and not too unbearably hot) at the end of the week!
