Recap of Week Five:
1.) We went through withdrawals of not being on vacation anymore... this took a few days!
2.) Zack's truck needed some work done so he used my car to go back and forth to work and we were stuck at the house for a couple days..... I have discovered that it is always nice to have one outing a day.... even if it is only to the grocery store or to fill up the car with gas!
3.) While "stuck" at home, we played in the sprinklers!
4.) I fit in a work meeting one day this week (Grammy to the rescue!)
5.) We ventured out to Music and Movement.... thank goodness we got our car back! haha
6.) Maddox is trying new foods... like pizza and spaghetti!
7.) Maddox has learned to clap and say "dada" and what might also be "hi". (Side note: Zander's first word was "mama" so I think it is pretty appropriate that we split this thing 50/50 so both parents got a "shout out" on the whole first word thing!)
8.) We entertained ourselves at the house.... with simple things... like a laundry basket!
9.) Grannie and GranDan came to visit and we went to the science center!
10.) We celebrated Great Grandpa's birthday at his apartment!
11.) We enjoyed the simple things.... like a trip to the grocery store.... especially when you can get the cart you want! :)
