Here we go again! Another week at home... another week of pictures from our neighborhood primarily! To start off the week, we celebrated Zander's great report card with a pizza dinner. The boys wanted me to take pictures of them drinking their milk.... they said they looked fancy which cracked me up and made me want to document it here!
This past weekend, we decorated our school's dinosaur for Z's birthday. Basically, you can sign up for a week at a time and the dinosaur stays painted for the week until the next person's reservation starts. Who knew when I signed up for this week that painting the dinosaur would be our only outing that weekend!? Zander picked purple and yellow for LSU (since they won the national championship!) much to his Florida Gator- lovin' mama's disappointment! Thank goodness he is cute! The boys loved painting the dinosaur eggs with daddy and Zander loved putting his new age on the front of the dinosaur. We tried to drive by it occasionally this week to see Zander's name and admire the boys' work!We are loving our family dinners on Saturday nights. Everyone brings their own takeout and the boys are excited to see other faces rather than the ones who live with them every day! Eli is getting so big! I'm so blessed that I'm not missing his milestones in this pandemic!
Maddox wanted us to match in our puppy shirts that Grannie made for us. So I give you four puppy dogs in one picture! ;)
I'm impressed at Zander's improved writing. He doesn't typically like to write but he worked hard to include details from his observations of day and night. He worked on this independently which made me so proud of his effort and progress!
Maddox was excited to celebrate his half birthday last weekend..... he enjoyed putting his upcoming age in a cinnamon roll, blowing out the candles and getting to chose some of the fun activities that day. He has been doing a great job at his "school work" as well..... working hard to write his name, identify and write letters and numbers and color in the lines! His favorite parts of the day are when we can go for a scooter ride or a bike ride! He asks about this as soon as he wakes up each morning! haha
I sometimes get dressed for work..... so I had to document it! When you have meetings with people throughout the district to make big decisions for your school, you have to look the part! ;)
These boys love physical activity! We brought out a game that Linds and I enjoyed growing up! They had to race to put on various articles of daddy's clothing to see who was the fastest!
