Its a BOY!!!

This is the second time I am getting to write those words!  The Houstons are going to be a family of BOYS!  I am so excited that Zander will have a little brother!! It was always so special the bond my sister and I had growing up, and I think part of this had to do with us being the same gender.  We had similar interests and could relate to each other about many things.  I think it will be fun for Zander to get to experience what I had experienced growing up.... being able to set the example in so many ways to a younger sibling.  I am just so excited to know the gender!!!  And even more excited that "Thunderbird" had a great appointment on Monday.  HE is measuring 12 oz. and is starting to move where mommy can feel HIM.  Zack and Zander aren't able to feel HIS movements just yet.

So this is how the reveal went down..... Zack knew the gender at the appointment and was responsible for keeping it a secret until today.  He looked at the screen with the ultrasound tech while my screen was turned off.  I honestly couldn't figure it out by his facial expression and he gave no clues all week!  I will have to mention that I thought it was a boy all along.  ;) He was also in charge of figuring out how he would surprise us with the news.  He did an awesome job with a HUGE box full of BLUE balloons!  Zander absolutely loved the balloons.... even if he doesn't all the way understand what it means to have a baby brother just yet.
Here are some pictures from our party and a few additional pictures from our week.
Zack had everyone vote for the gender they predicted.

Zander is excited its a boy.... or maybe he just likes the balloons!
