'Tis the Season

I absolutely love this time of year!! All the holiday gatherings, twinkly lights, and gift giving really put you in the Christmas spirit!  It is our hope that our boys will grow up knowing the true reason we celebrate this season... the birth of our Savior!  It is also fun to celebrate Christ's birth with family traditions and holiday favorites.  Here are some of the things we have done this past week and some cute pictures of my boys! :)
Enough said! ;)
Cutest Santa Booty!
Zander now is in a toddler bed!! What a big boy!! :)
Zander didn't like the sirens from the fire trucks at our town's Christmas parade
Trying to overcome our fear of the sirens by waving to the firemen!
CANDY.... this was Zander's favorite part of the parade.... they kept throwing him candy!
Grammy went with us since daddy stayed home with Maddox

Seeing Santa and Mrs. Claus at the end of the parade
Love those smiles!
Trying on Santa hats!
Grammy trying a new trick she saw on TV to stop a baby from crying.... Maddox didn't like it! :)
More Santa hats!
Enjoying the fresh morning breeze on a Saturday

Watching "The Grinch" with Grandpa

The rest of the pictures are from an annual tradition that Linds and I had growing up..... making Christmas cookies for Santa (and our family and friends of course!)  We had an awesome afternoon making cookies and spending time with family.  We were able to watch football and eat dinner together as well!

One more picture I forgot to include (below)...... I love these boys!  I pray they share the same type of sibling friendship and love that my sister and I have had all these years!
