Happy Thanksgiving 2019!

We have been pretty busy since my last post.  We went to over to Grammy and Grandpa's house last Friday so the boys could meet their new cousin.  It was so sweet to see Zander and Maddox holding Eli. We had hoped it would help Emerson warm up to the idea but she is still content watching him from a short distance.  She did enjoy reading books with Grandpa that night!

The boys and I were able to go to Great Grandpa's Thanksgiving dinner where he lives.  They enjoyed the pumpkin pie and were really excited that we had a name card to identify our table!
On Monday, I left work a little earlier than normal and took the boys to play at the park and enjoy Frozen 2 at the theaters.  It was a great beginning to a short week at work.

Maddox was in our church's magazine a few weeks ago and now Zander made an appearance on the front page... see below.....
We went outside to fly an airplane and helicopter while the weather was nice.  The boys had a blast flying and crashing these modes of transportation!
Daddy had the day off on Wednesday.  We went to the science center and had so much fun spending time as a family!
On Thanksgiving morning, we ran the annual Greensboro Gobbler fun run!  Zander ran the mile in 8:22 and Maddox ran it in 9:41.  We had so much fun crossing the finish line together!  Zack ran with Zander and I ran with Maddox!
We headed to Charlotte to spend time with the Cantrells for Thanksgiving Dinner.  We had fun playing in the yard and taking family photos!

On Friday night, the Williams family and Kennedys came over for dinner.  Zack held his nephew for the first time and Boomer entertained the kids by playing Mario Kart!

On Saturday, we got to see Santa!  We didn't take many pictures of the Bakewell Bunch for Thanksgiving so we are counting these pictures as our annual Thanksgiving pictures.

Zack worked hard most of the day on getting things ready for our Thanksgiving feast!
Maddox loves holding Eli!! He gets so excited when he has a chance to hold his baby cousin.  Right after this picture was taken, Maddox said "I done" since Eli started crying! haha
Four generations at the Houston Household!
Aunt M with her newest nephew!
