Countdown to Summer!

 We are officially in the final countdown to summer break and it has been a sprint to the finish!  Zander went to cheer on one of his best friends, Mia, at her dance recital.  As you can see, this has been a tradition since they were in kindergarten.  He got to see a few of his other close friends from school and his teacher, Mrs. Maready, came as well!  She is retiring this year so we are enjoying the last few days with such an incredible teacher!

We finished out the regular machine pitch season with a final match up between the cousins.  You can see the game highlights below.  Maddox had a pretty great game and it was so much fun watching both of them and cheering for these two ball players.  It has been equally fun to watch the dads coach this season!  Now onto All Stars!

Zander will finish elementary school this week.  A friend sent me this picture from their kindergarten graduation.  Stay tuned for pictures from 5th grade graduation on Friday.  

I'm going to miss seeing him throughout the day at school!

Maddox had his last field trip of the school year. I had to help with testing but enjoyed pictures from a friend to see that my boy was having a blast!

We had to get Zander fitted for his soccer uniforms for next year.  We stopped to Marcos Pizza on the way home!  It is one of my favorites!

Brought the cousins a sweet treat on a Friday afternoon

We had our annual lake day with the Badens!  The weather was perfect and the kids (and adults) had a blast!  Since we have been doing this since we were pregnant with Maddox and Lydia, we have perfected the packing and planning to truly make it a laid back day filled with fun!

We wore Maddox out as evidenced by this picture on the way home.
